Witton Albion In The 2nd Round

Crewe beat Hyde in the first round 5-0 with youngster Michael Hidgon shining. Crewe will now play Witton Albion away in the 2nd Round, the tie is due to be played the week commencing November 10th 2003.

It's a tournement the Alex have won for the last two years and is a chance for the fringe players in the squad to get games.

Meanwhile a reserve team will travel to Eton Park, the home of Burton Albion, to play Burton Albion this coming Wednesday.
