Swans defender arrives on loan.

Tate who started his career at Manchester United as a trainee joined Swansea City after initially having a sucessful loan spell at the Welsh club back in 2002 & 2003.

He joined the Swans in 2004 and was part of the team that managed to survive the drop in to the conference. During his time at Swansea Tate has been part of the teams metaphoric rise from the League Two to the Premiership which also included a Football League Trophy winners medal.

Easington born Tate has made 257 apperances for the Swans and has had loan spells at Leeds United, Yeovil Town and last season at Aberdeen.
