Elding's return to the club could see a suprise selection to the squad as the Railwaymen look for some much needed firepower over the Easter weekend.

During his time at Sincil Bank Elding has made thirteen apperances netting three times but was also sent off last month and had to serve a three-match ban.

Lincoln have also expressed that they would like to sign Elding on a permanent deal, although Elding still has two-years left on his contract at Crewe.

Neil Baker told the official website "Anthony will be back this week and he will be available for selection like everyone else. He is a Crewe player and if the manager wants to use him then he will"

"Anthony doesn't like missing games. He likes to be involved in things and he came to us to ask to go out on loan and we considered that a good idea at the time. He wanted to go out and he has had a decent loan spell at Lincoln."

Baker was also quick to make it clear Elding will be welcomed back to the club. ' He is a good lad to have around the place becaus everytime he enters the field he gives 100%" Baker added "If he comes back here and can score a goal or two to keep us in the division then the decision to let him go on loan would have been worth it "
